New Horizons Village is designed to serve adults who have limited mobility due to severe physical disabilities. To be considered for residency, an individual must meet all the following general criteria: |

"It is the policy of New Horizons Village to promote equal opportunity and non-discrimination in compliance with but not limited to, the following: Civil Rights Legislation (1964, 1968 and 1998), the Fair Housing Act Amendments of 1988 and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and any other legislation protecting the individual rights of residents, applicants or staff which may be subsequently enacted. In carrying out the qualifications standards for the prospective residents at New Horizons Village, New Horizons Village will not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, nationality or ethnic origin, citizenship, ancestry, class, sex, sexual orientation, familial status, disability or handicap, military/veteran status, source of income, age or other basis prohibited by city, state or federal law." |
